
The title of “Champion” is only awarded, both privately and professionally, to those who have proven over a long period of time that they belong to the absolute top in their field. The title of “Champion” has been achieved through a high degree of perseverance, commitment and discipline. A title that attests to the person or company’s great success.
But as is so often the case in life, it is one thing to be named a “champion” once. Being a “champion” several times in a row is an even greater achievement. As Frank Lloyd Wright, architect of the famous Guggenheim Museum in New York, once said: “The price of success is dedication, hard work and unrelenting commitment to what you want to achieve.” This quote underlines the importance of continuous effort and dedication in order to succeed repeatedly.
Five champion titles for Jauch
Since 2019, Jauch has been named a “Champion” for the fifth time by the University of St. Gallen – more precisely by Prof. Dr. Christoph Müller:
Prof. Müller teaches at the HBM Entrepreneurship School at the University of St. Gallen and knows all about the “champions” from the SME sector. In cooperation with the magazine “WirtschaftsWoche”, he compiles an annual index of all world market leaders from German-speaking countries – the “World Market Leader Champions”. Müller also names those companies that he believes, based on his analyses, will become global industry leaders in the medium term – the “Future Champions”.
Jauch – “Future Champion” three times in a row
Jauch Quartz GmbH has been one of these “Future Champions” three times in a row:
In 2019, 2020 and 2021, we received this prestigious award from the University of St. Gallen.
The following criteria were decisive for the “Future Champion” award:
– (Owner) management with at least 50% of the head office in the DACH region
– Operating on at least three of six continents with own production and/or sales companies or export activities
– Annual turnover between 5 and 50 million euros.
– Market leader: No. 1 or No. 2 in the relevant global market (segment)
– Export share/foreign share of sales: at least 40% of sales.
Hard work, perseverance and continuous learning should pay off once again for Jauch:
Twice “Global Market Leader Champion”
In 2024, Jauch was named “Global Market Leader Champion” for the first time. The decisive factor: with an annual turnover of over 50 million euros, the company made the leap into the ranks of the “Global Market Leader Champions”. We were even able to confirm this great success once again in 2025.
