MEMS RUGGEDIZED OSCILLATORS

The ruggedized SiTime Endura™ oscillators are designed for aerospace, defence and industrial automation applications that require extremely high resistance to a wide range of harsh environmental conditions.

Based on proven silicon MEMS technology, they offer a high shock immunity up to 30,000 G. At the same time they offer the lowest acceleration sensitivity, best shock and vibration resistance, a high reliability (> 2.2 x 109 hours MTBF), and superior dynamic performance under airflow, thermal gradients, pressure, and power supply noise.

Endura products can be factory-configured to any combination of frequency, stability, and voltage within a wide range of parameters, eliminating long lead times and customization costs. All Endura oscillators are 100 % screened through the SiTime Endura process flow to provide high reliability.

Description

This oscillator is designed for harsh environments and is characterised by an extremely low acceleration sensitivity of 0.1 ppb/G, a shock resistance of 10,000 G and a vibration resistance of 70 G.

Endura products can be factory programmed to any combination of frequency (1 to 137 MHz), stability (±20 ppm) and voltage within a wide rane of parameter, eliminating the usual long lead times and customisation costs.

All Endura oscillators are 100 % screened by the SiTime Endura process flow to ensure high reliability.

A configuration option "FlexEdge™" for higher capacitive loads or configurable rise/fall time for EMI reduction is available.

Description

The Endura Family of high-performance differential oscillators offers popular output drivers for LVPECL, LVDS, HCSL and low-power HCS and are designed for high reliability aerospace and defense applications. These ruggedized devices are available from 1 MHz up to 920 MHz with best available jitter performance option of 70 fs RMS jitter (typ.), and high temperature operation up to 125 °C in different QFN package’s down to 2.0 x 1.6 mm.

They provide low jitter and power supply noise rejection (PSNR) in the presence of environmental hazards, such as shock, vibration, noisy power supply, or EMI.
Ideal for FPGA clocking and other high-speed military applications requiring ultra-low jitter, low power, and small size.

Description

The Endura™ ruggedized 32.768 kHz Super-TCXO is designed for pulse-per-second timekeeping is built for ruggedized aerospace, defense applications as hand radios, portable equipment, ground vehicles and airborne environments that operate in harsh environments.
With the best-in-class ±0.1 ppm to ±0.4 ppm frequency stability, this 32.768 kHz reference clock is ideal for GNSS receivers. Die excellent stability enables GNSS signal lock within seconds, provide accurate timing and location data much faster. Performance is further enhanced with low 2 ns RMS phase jitter and a 20-year aging of only ±2.5 ppm.

Description

SiTime Endura VCXOs, a family of differential VCXO (voltage controlled oscillator), engineered for harsh environments, provide exceptional performance and high reliability. Ideal for aerospace and defense applications.

This device supports LVPECL, LVDS and HCSL output types with 27 exceptionally linear APR (absolute pull range) options up to ±3200 ppm, 0.21 ps jitter (typ.), ±15 ppm stability, and 0.1 % pull range linearity. The VCXOs were designed to maintain these specs in the presence of common environmental stressors, such as shock, vibration, power supply noise, and EMI.

Description

Endura Epoch Platform™ MEMS OCXOs (oven-controlled oscillators) boost the resilience of PNT systems (positioning, navigation & timing) by providing reliable holdover if the system loses the GPS signal.

Leveraging SiTime’s unique temperature sensing technology and advanced CMOS design, it delivers excellent stability in the presence of environmental stressors such as airflow, temperature perturbation, vibration, shock, and EMI. The OCXO comes in a small surface mount package (9.0 mm x 7.0 mm x 3.6 mm) and offers ±1 ppb over-temp stability over -40 °C to 95 °C, ±0.01 ppb/°C typical frequency slope (ΔF/ΔT), and 5E-12 Allen deviation. The products have a large pull range from ±3.125 to ±400 ppm and outstanding 20,000 G shock survivability.
