New oscillators with differential output for reliable data transmission from Jauch: JOD21, JOH21 and JOE21

The JOH21, JOE21 and JOD21 low-jitter oscillators with differential output are designed for applications that require accurate timing and precise synchronization. Their low phase jitter ensures reliable data transmission, for example in high-speed communication. These miniature oscillators from Jauch are essential for demanding applications in telecommunications such as servers, data centers, Ethernet, SDH/SONET, optical modules, storage devices and devices for the Internet of Things (IoT).

Oscillators with differential output play an important role in modern telecommunications technology and in the constantly growing number of data centers. For example, they support the continuously increasing speeds of data transmission via Ethernet, which currently range from 100 Gbit/s to 800 Gbit/s.

This new product family of advanced Jauch oscillators will also help to meet the increasing demand for high-capacity optical communication modules.

The new oscillators with differential output and lowest jitter from Jauch:

  • JOH21: Low jitter oscillator with differential output: HCSL level output in a 2.0 x 1.6 mm miniature SMD housing
  • JOE21: Low jitter oscillator with differential output: LVPECL level output in a 2.0 x 1.6 mm miniature SMD housing
  • JOD21: Low jitter oscillator with differential output: LVDS level output in a 2.0 x 1.6 mm miniature SMD housing

The JOH21, JOE21 and JOD21 low-jitter oscillators offer excellent performance in a compact, industry-standard 2.0 x 1.6 mm size. This makes them ideal for applications where space is limited. They support multiple logic output signal levels such as HCSL, LVDS and (LV)PECL and offer extremely low jitter of less than 60 fs with an offset of 12 kHz to 20 MHz relative to an output frequency of 156.250 MHz. Further frequencies are being successively expanded and can be requested at any time.

The outstanding performance of these oscillators with minimal phase jitter is crucial for error-free and stable data transmission and processing. They can also maintain an overall stability of ±50 ppm over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

For frequencies from 13.5 MHz up to 320 MHz, further oscillators with differential output are available from Jauch in 3.2 x 2.5 mm or 7.0 x 5.0 mm housings.
