Jauch trade fair team completes successful electronica 2018

The world's largest electronics trade fair, "electronica", took place in Munich in mid-November. Jauch Quartz GmbH from Villingen-Schwenningen was one of over 3,100 companies that presented their products and services to show visitors from over 80 countries.

Electronica 2018 will go down in history as the largest electronica in its history. The number of halls for the presentation of the exhibition booths was increased from 14 to 17. The number of visitors increased more than ten percent compared to the last show two years ago. The increased number of exhibitors and the increased exhibition space demonstrate the enormous importance of the world's most important meeting place for the electronics industry.

Jauch expands exhibition space
Jauch Quartz GmbH also greatly increased its exhibition size this year and was represented with a 200 m² exhibition stand in Munich. For the first time, Jauch product ranges were exhibited in one both, the frequency giving components and the battery solutions.

This combination was met with a consistently positive response, as many customers and interested parties need both frequency control technology and power solutions. In the area of frequency-giving components, it was the clock generators for wireless applications that were the subject of a lively exchange. On the battery side, demand for rechargeable lithium batteries, lithium ion batteries and lithium polymer batteries remained very high. The exhibited energy storage systems, power packs with up to 1,000 watt hours, which can power a refrigerator, for example, were also very popular.

Battery Product Finder and Battery Academy important innovations

Electronica offered Jauch an ideal platform to present their specialty in the field of batteries to a wide audience. Jauch introduced a product finder specially developed for the trade fair, the "Lithium Polymer Product Finder". With this tool, the lithium polymer battery suitable for given project specifications can be found on the Jauch website in just a few steps and can be directly requested.

With another innovation, the Battery Academy, Jauch is once again meeting the needs of the market: especially in the case of lithium chemistry. Established as the leading battery chemistry in recent years, Jauch experts notice an increasing demand for explanation and training for existing customer projects.

Starting January 2019, one-day seminars will be held at the company's headquarters in Villingen-Schwenningen. The aim of the seminar is to provide knowledge about the construction, transport, certification and handling of a battery.

The Jauch trade fair team at electronica 2018

"One company - one team" was the motto of the Jauch trade fair team's presentation. The completely new exhibition stand, the company from the Black Forest made clear the cohesion that exists across all Jauch companies. Colleagues from the USA, France, England, Sweden and Switzerland met with the German exhibition team and presented during the four-day span of the show.

"We were able to exchange information with our long-standing customers, partners and new interested parties in a total of seven languages and thus meet the international trade fair audience at eye level", says Thomas Jauch.  The owner of Jauch Quartz GmbH has attended every electronica for 30 years, 2018 being no exception. He was one of the first to seek contact with partners in Asia in the 1980s. These long-standing partnerships still exist and are personally strengthened by Thomas Jauch every two years during the world's leading trade fair for electronics.
