EcoVadis bronze medal for sustainable management

EcoVadis conducts sustainability ratings worldwide in accordance with international sustainability standards. The Jauch Group recently underwent this rigorous assessment process. This month, the company was awarded the bronze medal for its sustainability efforts.

Jauch achieved this recognition on its first participation in this international assessment process, placing it in the top 35% of all participating companies.

Four Evaluation Categories

Throughout the evaluation process, Jauch was assessed in four main categories set by EcoVadis:

1. Environment:
   Measures to reduce the ecological footprint, such as energy saving, emissions reduction, and waste management, are evaluated in the environment category.
2. Labor and Human Rights:
   This category includes compliance with labor rights, the promotion of fair labor practices, and the protection of human rights within the company and its supply chain.
3. Ethics:
   Ethics encompasses integrity in business conduct, combating corruption, and transparency in corporate management.
4. Sustainable Procurement:
   Sustainable procurement refers to the responsible purchase of materials and services to meet environmental and social criteria

Bronze medal – recognition and motivation

“A respectful and sustainable use of the resources entrusted to us is very important to us. This includes our employees, suppliers, and service providers, as well as the products that we develop, produce, and ship internationally every day. Our aim is to constantly improve what we do,” explains Marc Schott, a member of the management team. “The certification by EcoVadis helped us to examine the associated processes in the company in more detail. For us, the bronze medal award is both recognition and motivation – as a sustainable company we, are on the right path, but we will continue to pursue it with great vigour in the future.”
