In partnership with Hamburg-based Northh Medical, Jauch developed an amagnetic Lithium-Polymer Battery used in MRI diagnostics for the early detection of congenital heart defects in the womb.
Another notable project is the development of "NightWatch," a wireless wristband and base station for the early detection of epilepsy during sleep. Equipped with a Lithium-Polymer Battery, the wristband monitors the wearer’s heart rate and movements, transmitting data to a nearby base station for analysis. If a potentially severe epileptic seizure is detected, an alarm alerts caregivers, even in another room, ensuring a timely response.
